Guide Ivan Blanco supervises the purchase of more than $1,000 USD of tin and roofing nails for the first phase of the new roof for the school complex. All funds were donated "on the spot" by SSSP participants when we learned the school roof was more than 40 years old and leaked in almost every classroom. To make sure the money went directly towards the project, all materials were bought in person and delivered to the school for installation.
