  Start with a 35 minute drive into the picturesque Sigatoka Valley and glimpse ancient hill fortresses of Tavuni and Matanavatu. On the banks of the river you’ll participate in customary kava ceremony and picnic lunch before a bamboo raft ferries you across the river for the short walk to the Naihehe Caves. We follow the lantern lit hall chambers to the legendary “Pregnancy Gap” which opens up into the huge and wondrous Grand Cathedral Chamber. Natural features include sparkling stalactites, stalagmites, flowstones and underground springs - but its history makes this cave particularly special.

  Navua River Village Safari - Take a leisurely boat trip up the Navua River, passing traditional villages untouched by western civilization. Traveling to Nukusere village you can experience the fast flowing shallow rapids, before joining a Kava ceremony and dining on a tropical Fijian lunch.
  Our journey begins on a motor boat which takes you up the river past villages and through scenes of untouched beauty with waterfalls and deep gorges.
  Experience the thrills of fast-flowing shallow rapids along the way to the Nukusere village for a Kava ceremony and tropical Fijian lunch. Enjoy a swim in the clear fresh mountain water and visit specialty shops before returning down the river.

  Fly Nadi to Tarawa FJ 231 1210/1510
  Transfer to the airport for flight to Tarawa. Transfer to hotel Tarawa.
  This afternoon, we will have a short tour of Tarawa including the remains of the famous WWII battles, the shipyard, the catholic churches, colorful windows of the churches and the cultural center of the island that promotes the local handicraft materials.

• Eclipse Day - SuperCarrier Tarawa - Marakei
  0500 departure by Ferry for Marakei. Our ferry trip on eclipse day will take approximately 6-7 hours depending on our route and sea conditions. Our route will take us north past the neighboring island of Abaiang along the way
  
• Arrival to Marakeiat approx. 12:00 noon local time.
  
• First Contact occurs at 2:44 PM local time
  
• Maximum eclipse is at 3:57 PM local time
  
• Duration of totality is 3:59 at a viewing site on the beach.

  Nadi Tivua Island Cruise
  Set sail by tall ship, brigantine Ra Marama, to this pristine island, surrounded by 500 acres of spectacular coral reef. Tivua Island is a sanctuary for turtles during the nesting season, and is surrounded by a circle of white sandy beaches.

  Nausori Highland Trek. Trek to the traditional Fijian village of Yavuna one of the highlands oldest village settled in early 1700's. Enjoy a traditional Fijian lunch, refreshing swim and time with the local villagers. On the summit, enjoy spectacular view of Nadi Bay and Mt Evans Ranges. This one day trek combines excellent trekking with a cultural experience.
