Terms and Conditions:

Includes:  
Hotels and meals per itinerary, transfers to-from airport, ferry, charter flight to Tatakoto for eclipse viewing, tented camping accommodations and supplies while on Tatakoto, activities, meetings and star party described in itinerary. English speaking tour leader.

Not included: 
Airfare to join tour in Papeete, Tahiti, meals not included in itinerary, room service, optional activities at hotels, gratuities, items of a personal nature.

Late registration fee of $250 per person applies for registrations after April 1, 2010

Deposits and payments: 
$800 per person due on reservation of space.
Second installment of $800 per person due October 1, 2009
Balance due March 1, 2010

Deposit fully refundable until September 30, 2009.   
All cancellations must be submitted in writing.
October 1, 2009 - Feb 28, 2010: $800 per person cancellation penalty.
March 1, 2010 - May 15, 2010:  $1600 per person cancellation penalty.
May 16 - departure: 100% cancellation penalty.  (All deposits non-refundable. )

Optional Travel Insurance is available to protect travelers from loss due to cancellation for a covered reason, for medical coverage, for missed connection, delay, baggage delay, or non-service by the supplier. Astronomical Tours is a contractor for supplied services by land operators and does not own or operate any equipment, employ any staff or control actions of land suppliers. Astronomical Tours is not responsible for cancellation loss, missed connection, supplier default or non-delivery of contracted services. Travelers are encouraged to purchase travel insurance to protect against this type of loss or inconveinence.  Travel insurance purchased before 21 days after deposit includes additional benefits of coverage for pre-existing conditions and tour operator default.
