Booking and payment terms:
- 20% due upon acceptance of registration (US $2698)
- 25% second payment due April 15, 2003 (US $3372.50)
- 25% third payment due July 15, 2003 (US $3372.50)
- 30% final payment due on or before October 15, 2003 (US $4047)

This expedition is to a remote part of the world, travel/trip cancellation insurance is required to protect passenger in the event of trip delay, inturruption, cancellation due to any cause; medical evacuation and reparation of remains, accidental death, common carrier, and tour operator default. By submitting this reservation, the passenger acknowledges that Astronomical Tours, Cape Tour Charters, and its agents shall not be liable for factors beyond it’s control and hereby agree to purchase adequate insurance coverage via his/her own responsibility.

Cancellations:
* Travelers must purchase Trip/ Travel protection and are insured against medial injury, medical evacuation and cancellation for covered reasons. So if you book your trip and cannot travel, you are covered for cancellation.  Travel Insurance customers are covered for cancellation due to illness* (either traveler, companion, buisiness partner or family member) injury, employment termination, terrorist incident, bankruptcy of supplier, weather cancellation, strike, military call-to-duty, traffic accident, jury duty, or personal reasons such as victimization by burglary or felonious assault - or if an emergency renders a traveler's home uninhabitable.
*To avoid exclusion coverage for a pre-existing conditions, trip insurance must be purchased within 14 days of booking deposit.

$1000 cancellation penalty applies for all cancellations before 15 July, 2003.
July 15 - October 15, 2003 are subject to a 50% cancellation penalty.
Cancellations after October 31, 2002 are subject to 100% cancellation fee.

Payments may be made via check, certified funds, bank wire, mastercard, visa, discover or American Express.
A 1% fee applies to all credit card transactions. (Subject to card processing terms and conditions)
